Shipping Options & Tracking
TradeAv allows sellers to choose their own shipping methods, carriers, and rates. All shipping and delivery arrangements are handled directly between the buyer and the seller. TradeAv does not manage, arrange, or guarantee shipping or delivery of any items.
Adding Shipping to Your Listing
When creating a listing on TradeAv, make sure you correctly add a shipping option.

Go to the Shipping section of your listing.

Choose your preferred shipping method (Standard, Express, Local Pickup, etc.).

Enter a Value (Cost) — the amount the buyer pays for shipping.

If shipping is free, enter 0.

Enter an Additional Cost for multiple items (or 0 if not applicable).

Click “Add” to save the shipping option.

⚠️ If you do not click “Add,” or if you leave any field blank, shipping will not be applied to your listing.
Seller Shipping Options
- Sellers can offer shipping through their preferred courier or freight provider (e.g. Australia Post, TNT, FedEx, DHL, Toll, or local freight).
- Shipping costs, delivery times, and carrier options are determined by the seller when creating the listing.
- Sellers should clearly state whether prices include shipping or if it will be charged separately.
- Where possible, sellers should provide tracking details once the item has been dispatched.
Buyer Shipping Information
- Before purchasing, review the seller’s shipping details on the listing page to confirm carrier, costs, and estimated delivery time.
- If shipping information is unclear, contact the seller directly through TradeAv messages before placing your order.
- Once payment is complete, the seller is responsible for dispatching the item promptly and providing tracking if available.
- Buyers should keep a copy of the tracking number and any courier receipts until the item has been received.
Tracking Your Order
- If the seller provides a tracking number, it can be entered on the courier’s website for delivery updates.
- TradeAv does not have access to courier systems and cannot track items on your behalf.
- If you have not received a tracking number or update, contact the seller through TradeAv messages.
- Keep all correspondence in TradeAv to maintain a clear record of communication.
Freight & Oversized Items
- Large or heavy items (such as engines, parts, or equipment) may require freight transport instead of standard courier delivery.
- Sellers must provide accurate weight and dimensions to ensure correct freight pricing.
- Buyers should confirm freight arrangements and costs before completing payment.
TradeAv’s Role & Responsibility
- TradeAv is a facilitator platform only — we do not arrange, handle, or guarantee any shipping services.
- All shipping, insurance, and delivery matters are the responsibility of the individual seller and buyer.
- TradeAv assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged, or undelivered items.
- Buyers and sellers must communicate directly to resolve any shipping-related issues.
Tip: For valuable or fragile items, request tracked and insured shipping from the seller for peace of mind.
