Resolving Disputes

TradeAv is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers directly. We do not take part in transactions or manage disputes, but we provide tools and guidance to help both parties communicate and reach a fair resolution.
Step 1: Contact the Other Party
- Most issues can be resolved quickly through open communication.
- Use the TradeAv messaging system to contact the other party directly.
- Clearly explain the issue and include supporting details such as order number, photos, or tracking information.
- Allow at least 2 business days for a response before taking further steps.
Step 2: Try to Reach an Agreement
- Buyers and sellers should work together to find a solution — such as a replacement, refund, or return.
- Keep all communication polite and factual. Avoid using external apps or personal contact methods.
- Confirm any agreements in writing through TradeAv messages for recordkeeping.
Step 3: Gather Evidence
- If communication breaks down, collect all relevant information such as:
- Transaction ID or listing link
- Payment proof (Stripe, Link, PayPal, or bank receipt)
- Photos of the item, packaging, or damage
- Copies of messages between both parties
- Having clear documentation helps verify your claim if you need to involve your payment provider.
Step 4: Payment Provider Assistance
- If you paid through Stripe (via Link) or PayPal, you can contact those providers directly to raise a dispute or request a chargeback.
- Each payment platform has its own review and refund process based on the evidence you provide.
- For bank transfers, you’ll need to speak directly with your bank regarding any reversal options.
Step 5: Report the Issue to TradeAv
- If you believe a user has acted dishonestly or breached TradeAv’s Terms, you can report the issue below or through our contact form.
- TradeAv can review the account for policy violations and take necessary action (such as warnings or suspension), but we do not enforce refunds or returns.
- Reports are used to monitor user behaviour and maintain marketplace integrity.
