📝 Writing an Effective Listing Title
- Keep your title short, clear, and easy to understand.
- Include key details such as brand, model, size, or features.
- Avoid unnecessary symbols or all caps.
📄 Creating a Detailed Description
- Explain exactly what the item is and what it’s used for.
- List features, specifications, dimensions, and benefits.
- Clearly state the item’s condition (new, used, refurbished, etc.).
- Disclose any faults, scratches, wear, or issues honestly.
- Include compatibility or fitment details if relevant.
- Mention what is included: accessories, manuals, extras, etc.
💲 Pricing Your Item
- Check similar listings on TradeAv or other marketplaces.
- Price competitively for the best buyer interest.
- Use Make an Offer if you are open to negotiation.
🚚 Shipping & Pickup Information
- Be clear and transparent with shipping costs and options.
- Include pickup details if offering local pickup.
- Use tracking for valuable or fragile items.
- Package items securely to avoid damage during transit.
📸 Image Requirements & Tips
High-quality images help buyers trust your listing and understand the item better. TradeAv automatically resizes your images based on system settings.
- Upload images at least 1000 × 1000 px for best clarity.
- Images are resized to 460 × 460 px for display.
- Thumbnails are displayed at 300 × 300 px.
- Use JPG (recommended) or PNG.
- Keep file size under 5MB per image.
- Use bright, natural lighting and avoid shadows.
- Photograph multiple angles: front, back, sides, close-ups.

🎥 Adding a YouTube Video (Optional)

- Upload the video to YouTube as Public or Unlisted.
- Copy the YouTube Video ID (the code after
?v=). - Paste the ID into the “Add YouTube Video” field on your listing.
- Videos display at 425 × 349 px on listing pages.
- Related videos are disabled for a cleaner viewing experience.
🎬 Recommended Video Settings
- Resolution: 1280×720 (HD) or 1920×1080 (Full HD).
- Format: MP4 (recommended) or MOV.
- Orientation: Landscape for best display.
- Length: 20–90 seconds works well for most items.
