Contact the Seller or Ask a Question
Whether before or after purchasing, TradeAv makes it easy to contact sellers and ask questions. You can message privately, post public questions, or follow up after a sale — all directly through your account.
Contacting a Seller Before Purchasing
On each listing page, the seller’s information appears beside the product. You’ll see their name, location, and two buttons:
- View Seller’s Other Listings – See all items listed by that seller.
- Contact Seller – Send a private message before you buy.

- Click Contact Seller to open the message form.
- Write your question, then click Send.
- The seller will receive your message in their TradeAv inbox and by email.
Asking a Public Question on the Listing
You can also post a public question under the Questions & Answers section on the listing page. The seller can reply directly, and both your question and the seller’s answer will be visible to other buyers.
- Scroll down to the Questions & Answers section.
- Click the Post a Question button.
- Type your question and submit it.
- The seller’s reply will appear underneath your question.

Contacting the Seller After Purchase
If you’ve already purchased an item and need to contact the seller for delivery updates, order confirmation, or after-sales questions, you can message them directly from your account dashboard.
- Go to My Account → Home.
- Select Listings Won or Your Items You Have Purchased.
- Find your purchased listing.
- Click the three dots (…) menu next to that item.
- Select Contact Seller from the dropdown.
This will open a private message window where you can communicate with the seller about your purchase details.

- What if the seller doesn’t reply?
Give the seller 1–2 business days to respond. If there’s still no reply, contact TradeAv Support through the Contact Page. - Who can see my question?
Public questions under the Questions & Answers section are visible to all users viewing that listing. Private messages through Contact Seller are only seen by you and the seller. - Can I message multiple sellers?
Yes. You can contact each seller individually using the Contact Seller button on their listings. - Can I delete a question I posted?
To remove or edit a question, please contact the TradeAv admin team through the Contact Page.
