Buyer Refunds & Returns
TradeAv is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers directly. We do not own, inspect, ship, or handle the items listed on the site. All sales, refunds, and returns are strictly between the buyer and the seller.
When You Can Request a Refund
- The item hasn’t arrived within the seller’s stated timeframe, and no valid tracking details have been provided.
- The item you received is not as described — for example, wrong item, missing parts, or significantly different condition.
- The item was damaged in transit — contact the seller as soon as possible and include photos of the packaging and damage.
- The seller agreed to cancel the order before shipment but you were still charged.
Before Requesting a Return
- Contact the seller directly through TradeAv’s messaging system to discuss a solution first.
- Allow at least 2 business days for the seller to respond before taking further action.
- Keep all communication polite and detailed — include order number, photos, and a clear summary of the issue.
Returning an Item
- Do not return an item until the seller has agreed to accept it.
- Use tracked postage for returns and provide tracking details to the seller.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed with the seller.
- Keep your postage receipt and tracking record until the refund has been completed.
Getting a Refund
- Refunds are issued directly by the seller once the returned item is received and confirmed in the same condition it was sent.
- If you paid via Stripe, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method by the seller.
- Refunds generally take 3–5 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
- If you cannot reach a resolution, you can report the issue to TradeAv for record purposes, but TradeAv does not intervene or enforce refunds.
TradeAv’s Role & Responsibility
- TradeAv is a facilitator platform only and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
- We do not guarantee, control, or accept responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of items listed.
- TradeAv is not responsible for refunds, shipping delays, damaged items, payment disputes, or communication issues between users.
- All responsibility for refunds, returns, and item condition lies solely with the individual seller.
