Accepted Payment Methods
TradeAv supports secure and trusted payment methods so buyers and sellers can complete transactions safely. All payments are made directly between the buyer and seller — TradeAv does not collect, hold, or process any funds.
Link (Connected to Stripe)
- TradeAv uses Link as its secure payment platform, which connects directly to each seller’s Stripe account.
- When a buyer chooses to pay by card, they’ll be directed to a Link checkout page that securely processes payment on behalf of the seller.
- Supported cards include Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Once payment is complete, both the buyer and seller receive a Stripe confirmation email or receipt.
- Each seller must have their own connected Stripe account to receive payments via Link.
- Standard Stripe processing fees apply, as listed in TradeAv’s Fee Schedule.
PayPal
- Many sellers also accept PayPal for convenient and quick payments.
- PayPal allows buyers to pay using their balance, bank account, or linked debit/credit card.
- Always send payments using the “Goods and Services” option to ensure purchase protection.
- Never use “Friends and Family” for TradeAv purchases, as it removes payment protection.
- PayPal fees are handled by the seller according to PayPal’s standard rates.
Bank Transfer (When Offered by Seller)
- Some sellers may also offer Bank Transfer as an alternative payment option.
- Only send funds to bank details provided by the seller within TradeAv messages or invoice section.
- Always confirm the account details directly with the seller before transferring money.
- Keep your payment confirmation or receipt as proof of transfer.
Unsupported Payment Methods
- TradeAv does not support cryptocurrency, cash, or any payments made off-platform.
- Never send money through third-party links, messaging apps, or external websites.
- Doing so removes your transaction record and may result in loss of funds.
TradeAv’s Role & Responsibility
- TradeAv is a facilitator platform only — we connect buyers and sellers but do not handle or guarantee payments.
- All payments occur directly between the buyer and the seller via Stripe (through Link), PayPal, or Bank Transfer.
- TradeAv assumes no responsibility for failed payments, incorrect details, chargebacks, or refunds.
- It is the responsibility of both parties to confirm payment completion and maintain clear communication.
Tip: Always make payments using the official Link checkout (connected to Stripe), verified PayPal address, or confirmed bank details to ensure your transaction is secure and traceable.
