Listing Types: Auction, Fixed Price & Classified
TradeAv offers flexible listing options to suit different types of aviation sales. Sellers can choose between Auction, Fixed Price (Buy Now), or Classified listings when posting an item.
Auction Listings
- Buyers place bids, and the highest bidder wins the item when the auction ends.
- The seller can set a starting price and a reserve price (optional minimum they’re willing to accept).
- Auction listings run for a set number of days — once finished, the winner is automatically notified by email.
- All winning bids are binding. Buyers must complete payment promptly after the auction ends.
Fixed Price (Buy Now)
- Items listed at a fixed price can be purchased instantly without bidding.
- Perfect for new or in-stock products with a set selling price.
- Buyers click Buy Now and complete payment immediately using the seller’s chosen method (Link via Stripe, PayPal, or Bank Transfer). Once accepted buy now and submit your confirmation of purchase payment must be made within 24 hours.
- Fixed Price listings can remain active until sold or cancelled by the seller.
Classified Listings
- Classified listings are ideal for aircraft, parts, and services where negotiation happens directly between buyer and seller.
- Buyers can contact the seller via TradeAv messages to discuss pricing and details.
- No automatic checkout — all communication and payment are handled privately between both parties.
- Classifieds can be listed as:
- Standard Classified — one-off, short-term listing
- Good Till Cancelled Classified — stays active until removed by the seller
TradeAv’s Role & Responsibility
- TradeAv is a facilitator platform only — we connect buyers and sellers but do not take part in transactions.
- All payments, refunds, and negotiations are handled directly between buyers and sellers.
- TradeAv assumes no responsibility for pricing, payment disputes, or the outcome of listings.
